What might a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit look like in your life? St. Teresa’s Faith & Fellowship team invites you to explore that question together through The Wild Goose, a video series featuring Fr. Dave Pivonka.
Come for faith, fellowship, and conversation. All are welcome, whether you come on your own or bring a friend. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share.
The group will meet Wednesday evenings from October 21 through December 9, with no meeting on November 25.

Beatification of Friar Pedro de Corpa and Companions
The beatification of the Venerable Servants of God Pedro de Corpa and his Four Companions – commonly known as the Georgia Martyrs .

at Savannah Convention Center
Cardinal Frank Leo, Metropolitan Archbishop of Toronto, will represent the Holy Father as Papal Legate and preside over the beatification liturgy.
The beatification is 40 years…plus 429 years!...in the making and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our mission diocese. Most Catholics will never attend a beatification!
Out of the handful of beatifications to occur on American soil, this will be the first in Georgia and the first in the South.
We ask all individuals planning to attend the Beatification to please register.

There is no cost to attend.
Please note that St. Teresa of Avila will NOT be providing bus transportation to Savannah. Those planning to attend will need to make their own transportation arrangements and register.

What is Discovering Christ?
Have you ever thought about the meaning of life, the purpose of our existence? Or have you ever wondered what the Catholic Christian faith is all about? Maybe asking why Jesus is important for us now and what can possibly point to God's existence?
Discovering Christ provides us with thought provoking responses to these and many more questions, exploring the basics of the Catholic Christian faith. Typically run over seven weeks, each session looks at a different question that people have had about the faith and is designed to promote honest and open conversations about life's biggest questions. If you are searching for answers, this can be the place to start.

MealIf there's something that we share in common, it's our need to eat! Food helps us come together and build relationships. It breaks down barriers between strangers and can be a way to know new people!

 TeachingSometimes in order for us to understand something beyond the surface, we need to hear a talk. Such talks can help guide us to wrap our minds around a subject area that we normally wouldn't hear from a 1-on-1 conversation. They serve to engage us and inspire conversation. They will explore the basics about the Catholic Christian faith.

 DiscussionWith anything we hear, it's good for us to talk about it. It helps us think about our own experience and compare it to what we have heard and seen. There's no pressure to talk though! Only if you want to share. It's a chance to hear from others and have others hear what you have to say in a friendly, honest, and open setting.

It offers a practical introduction to the Catholic Christian faith in a place where guests have an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The course usually meets once per week for 7 weeks and includes a day retreat. In each session, people enjoy great food, fellowship, and an opportunity to hear about the teachings of Jesus in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile. It's also free!
Who is Discovering Christ for?
Discovering Christ is for anyone and everyone! People can come from all backgrounds, religions and viewpoints. They come to investigate questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life, what happens after death, the teachings of Jesus and more. Many guests have never been to church; others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Catholic Christian faith; others attend church regularly. Everyone is welcome.
Discovering Christ will take place on Wednesday evenings beginning with dinner at 6:00 pm from September 17th - October 29th this fall. Included in the experience is a day retreat, scheduled on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
We'll begin each gathering with some food and refreshments. As most of us would have gone through a long day, consider this as a time to relax and enjoy some fellowship and food! The night continues with a presentation, followed by a short break. Small group discussions would then take place about the topic discussed. Participation is optional but worthwhile! The evening concludes after that.

You Are Not Alone: A One-Day Retreat for Those Grieving Pregnancy Loss
The Diocesan Rachel’s Vineyard Team is hosting a one-day retreat for healing for anyone who has experienced a pregnancy loss. Whether your loss was recent or long ago, this gentle, grace-filled day is a sacred space for anyone who has experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, infertility, infant loss or contraceptive use. You are invited to come as you are—whether you carry grief, questions, silence, or hope.
All are welcome—individuals, couples, and those who wish to come in memory of a loved one.
Let this be a step toward healing. You are seen. You are held. You are not alone.
